When Converse launched its new line of EV shoes, laces were out and velcro was in. The challenge was to change the mind-set of teens. We crafted a simple message that plays up on the “cool” factor to communicate that it is trendy to wear Converse shoes with laces. We used lingoes that teens identify with. The ads were seen in major teenage publications and in stores. Converse became one of the most talked about shoes in town. The ads also picked up awards from AdAsia and New York Festivals.
